Still, it does seem widely unbalanced, especially since it's pretty much risk-free it's impossible to get caught if you don't wander in other rooms. I guess it makes sense in a way, it's their storage room, and as long as these guys prosper they are going to put stuff in it, including what you give them. So you start the night with a reasonably valuable item (let's say a helmet), trade it for some good stuff, recover it, trade it again, recover it again and come back home with the helmet AND food or pills. Occasionally an object will disappear for good, but generally it will be back in the room after you've traded it. You can even trade stuff with the guy, then crawl in the underground corridor (which you have to free from debris with a shovel, and has a few locked doors to open) and recover it from the armoire, then trade it again with him, multiple times throughout the night.
Was this done on purpose or is it some kind of bug? It certainly makes everything a lot easier if you exploit it.įor those who don't know what I'm talking about and are not afraid to learn a potentially game-breaking trick, the room behind the guy who trades in the semi-detached house has a locked armoire, and inside it you find plenty of stuff to steal EVERY TIME you come back to the location.
